01Which JEWCC centres provide eye care?
Eye consultations are available at Virar West, Nallasopara East and Virar East. Selected eye surgeries are performed at the Nallasopara East centre.
02Do I need an appointment?
Calling or messaging the centre before visiting is recommended so the team can guide you on timings and the most appropriate location.
03What should I bring to an eye consultation?
Bring your current spectacles, previous prescriptions or reports, a list of medicines and relevant medical information such as diabetes or blood-pressure history.
04Is cashless treatment available?
Cashless facilities may be available for eligible treatments, subject to your policy, insurer or TPA approval and applicable terms.
05When is an eye problem urgent?
Sudden vision loss, severe eye pain, eye injury, chemical exposure or new flashes and floaters with a shadow need prompt medical assessment. Contact the nearest appropriate medical facility without delay.
