Cataract surgery pathway
Pre-operative measurements, IOL counselling, selected cataract procedures and postoperative reviews are coordinated around the individual eye and general health.
Dedicated eye operation theatre
Selected eye surgeries are carried out at this centre after examination, informed consent and pre-operative preparation. The doctor confirms whether this setting is appropriate for each case.
Retina consultation
A consulting retina specialist is available on Thursdays by appointment for retinal assessment and treatment planning. Please confirm availability before travelling.
Diagnostic and laser care
Eye imaging, measurements and laser procedures are advised only when they answer a clinical question or change treatment. Availability depends on the test or procedure required.
Insurance documentation support
For eligible procedures, the team can help organise clinical records and pre-authorisation documents. Final cashless approval and payable amounts remain with the insurer or TPA.
